We specialize in the custom construction of docks, seawalls, and bridges. Our goal is to build you a dock that will last for generations, and our methods of construction enable us to do just that. Our floating docks, for example, are all aluminum framed, providing extra strength to withstand large wakes due to heavy boat traffic or inclement weather.
We are a full service marine contractor. Design and permitting are also our specialty. We can design your dock, obtain the necessary permits and build the dock. We have been working closely with the local permitting authorities for 20 years and know the ins and outs of the permitting process well.
We are reconstruction experts. Many of the existing docks in the Lowcountry are 20, 30 even 40 years old. Some of these docks are in such a bad state of disrepair that they need to be completely rebuilt, from the pilings up. The permitting authorities have imposed a vast number of new rules and regulations since these older docks were built. In order to restore your dock to its original state, the reconstruction process must be handled very carefully.
We are serious about seawalls. A failed seawall can be extremely costly as well as detrimental to the environment. We believe in building seawalls right the first time. These structures must be built with the appropriate materials. In addition to being structurally sound, design is also important. All gangways, floater frames and other aluminum products are designed and manufactured by Alumarine, Inc., a custom aluminum marine fabrication company. Alumarine, Inc. has been manufacturing custom marine products in the Lowcountry for over 10 years.
The right boatlift for your dock is dependent on a variety of factors. We want to install the boat lift that suits you, your boat and your dock. We have established relationships with many different manufacturers of both traditional boat lifts as well as “drive-on” lifts.
